Beginners Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a great game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not have to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their money.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, beginners will be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make hasty choices.

It is also easier to enjoy for a very long time with basically a small amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the house receives seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
